Description of the Affected Roadworks:

The public is herewith informed of the scheduled construction work for street resealing and preparatory work in Windhoek until mid-December 2023. The construction Works, and partial/phased closure of the affected construction areas is applicable to the following streets:

 

• Independence Avenue between Ausspannplatz Circle and Etna Street
• Hosea Kutako Drive for the full length

 

 

Road users and pedestrians are requested to be cautious whilst using these roads during the scheduled maintenance operations, and due to the high bituminous temperatures required to strictly adhere to the traffic signage, speed restrictions and barricading around the respective construction areas.

 

Duration:
The construction Works will commence on 14 August 2023 and is expected to continue until mid-December 2023.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused while this necessary work is underway. The public support and assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated.
