The City of Windhoek oversees four Industrial Stalls, located in: Katutura, Khomasdal, Menarovandu and Wanaheda. The focus of the Industrial Stalls is to allow any entrepreneur who takes up the opportunity of offerings advertised to access workshop space to operate light industrial operations. The provision of infrastructure and space is at subsidized rates. Additionally, entrepreneurs may take up the opportunity of monthly scheduled capacity-building programmes to assist them to enhance their business management skills.

 

An additional benefit to becoming an industrial stall tenant allows you access to existing networks with partners such as Kongalend, Social Security Commission and SME Compete. The Industrial Stalls accommodate 110 traders in total.

 

Package offering as per Government Gazetted Fees and Stall size is placed in the print media:

• Katutura Industrial Stalls Office or First Floor Economic Development (list)
• Submit application by the due date.

 

All tenants are required to comply with the provisions as stipulated in the lease agreements signed and regulations which govern the operations and management of the Industrial Stalls premises. Any contravention of the clauses, rules and regulations does result in issuing of transgression notices. Upon the issuance of a third transgression notice to a tenant, the next step will be to issue the tenant with a seven-day eviction notice to vacate the stall which will then be advertised for the opportunity of occupation.
