The City Museum is mainly focused on exhibiting the history of Windhoek. It has five permanent galleries namely: Pre-colonial Windhoek & Windhoek during the German Period, Life in the Old Location, Voices of the Past,Windhoek today, Wild Windhoek and one temporary exhibition room.
