Instructions
- • The soup kitchen addresses food insecurity and malnutrition among children and vulnerable groups in the informal settlement.
- • Orphans & vulnerable children and vulnerable people are identified through different channels including schools, Constituency Councillor Offices, Social Worker or community leaders.
- • A needs assessment is conducted by the Community Development Officer to determine eligibility.
- • Beneficiaries for the soup kitchen are provided with a cooked meal on a daily or weekly basis at the community centre to be referred to.
- • Registration takes place annually at the community centre.
- • Vulnerable people are provided with food parcels when available.
